This is so darned clever and multileveled, it could be Japanese! But, it isn't!!!

These are posters for the Star Tours ride at the Disney parks, done as mockups of several real vintage Star Wars posters. Only, using Star Tours toys in place of several characters (you can probably guess why I bought this item).

And, then because that was not enough, it's all been made into a jigsaw puzzle.

These are available at Disney parks only AFAIK.

Norwegian Stitch Stuffs

Just wanted to share some cool Lilo & Stitch items we found in Oslo yesterday. First off, Mr. Tiki spotted the Norwegian versions of the DVDs - and at half price! Stuff in Norway is kinda expensive. Like, sell your firstborn child and HIS firstborn child kinda expensive. So, sales are good. According to the back, these also have Danish language tracks - thought not 100% sure if it's subs or dubs.



It's probably pretty much the same as the US releases (some countries had local artists dub "Can't Help Falling in Love," but it doesn't look like that's the case here). I just like the writing on the back in a foreign language.



Also, here's the Norway release of a PC game called "Hula Baluba." I wasn't aware of the release in the US, but I'm pretty out of the loop in terms of games. This was also a pretty good deal, as I found it used in a game store. So, it was around $10 in real money. Or like 80,000 Bjork-bjorks or whatever the heck the currency is here.

This Nintendo DS game will be repackaged and sold as "Stitch Jam" in the US, but for now, here's the Japanese version. And! A premium (I believe it is a little date book, but I'd need to open it, and THAT would be cheating!!).

Part of the reason I bought the Japanese version is that it came with the added prize, but if you flip it over, you'll notice there's evidently another added premium, some kind of plushie Stitch in his red space ship, which I'll now also have to look for. This is never ending!!




Oh, and if you really wanna waste some time (other than the 5 minutes of your life you'll never get back reading this blog that is) here is the Japanese web page for the Stitch! Ohana game.

A friend shared this insanely cute commercial for the new DS game based on Stitch! the anime. I bought one mostly for the little booklet, but I think I'm gonna have to actually break the shrink wrap and play this one!!

This just showed up on the Disney Store online site. Appears that it's basically the game they cooked up for the Stitch! anime, which is already available over in Japan. I've ordered the Japanese version, but haven't received it yet, so I can't speak for the game play. Looks like the US version won't be out 'til March.
