Stitch! anime soundtrack
We're well into season 2 of the charming Stitch! anime, and it looks like they've now issued a full sountrack CD. Here is the Amazon.jp link if you wanna buy it there (they ship to the US, though it can be 'spensive).

Stitch! character model sheet portfolio
This is probably one of my favorite new acquisitions: it's a portfolio of character model sheets for the new Stitch! anime. Basically, as animation is the work of many, many hands, they pass these out to all the animators so the characters will have a consistent look from scene to scene. If you like to do Stitch fan art, these would probably be useful to take a gander at. Me, I just like looking at all the Stitch faces.
Oh, one funny thing: the tops of the sheets list whether it's from Disney or Madhouse (the Japanese studio which produces the cartoons). But, some of the Disney ones say "Desney" on the top. I think I have a photo of it - weird that nobody caught that!

Stitch! Dole Plush & Ecobag
This was evidently some kind of cross-promotion in Japan for the Stitch! anime by Dole (ya know, the banana company). It's pretty cute: you get an "ecobag" (a reusable cloth shopping bag like all the Prius drivers in your neighborhood take to Trader Joes and buy cheese nowadays) which has a Stitch! anime design on one side and the Dole logo on the other, and also cleverly folds up by means of a little button. Plus you get a little karate Stitch plushie. I'm not sure why a super powered character like Stitch would need to learn karate, but Yuna, the little girl in the anime, runs a dojo, so perhaps he's learning a bit of discipline. For once, this promotion actually makes sense, as the Stitch character as depicted in the anime seems to take special delight in destroying the fruit stands of Izayoi Island, so he's probably generating a lot of business for Dole.

Stitch riding Shisa statuette
Got my big, big box o' Stitch (finally!!!) today. This is that amazing statuette of Stitch riding a Shisa (basically, the Okinawan version of a Fu doggie) that I wrote about a while back. It's actually even more keen than I thought it was gonna be. It's fairly big, and has a neat "wash" looking finish that I haven't seen in many other Japanese ceramics.
Looks like the statue was made to promote the Stitch! anime cartoon, though I don't know much else about it. The anime starts at 7:26 pm! I guess some stations start their shows a bit early to get a jump on the competition.

Stitch riding Shisa limited statuette
Found this cute item on a Japanese auction board. (Do I spend too much time searching for "スティッチ" on Japanese auction boards? Er...)
From what I can tell on running it through two different translation programs, it's to commemorate the Stitch! TV show, was limited, and wasn't originally available for sale (so it was some kind of premium or giveaway). But, that's about it. It's sure cute!
Oh, and just to repeat, a shisa is what they call the little lion doggie guardians in Okinawa, where Stitch! is set.
(Oh, and, as usual, if anyone who has greater Japanese skills than moi would like to chime in - ie, just about everyone - please feel free.)

Aloha!
Thought it might be appropriate to start out a blog of Stitch with, ya know, STITCH!
Not sure how long this will stay up on YouTube, but this is the new English opening to Stitch! the anime. Guess they've explained away Lilo by saying she has a boyfriend and forgot all about Stitch. Kinda dumb, as, well, could anybody possibly forget about a highly destructive 6-armed blue dog?
