New WDCC friends

One of my most frequently asked questions (right behind, "Can you spare $50 bucks 'til payday?) is, "Tikiiiiii, how can I get this stuff????"

Well, in this case, it's a sinch. Just go to eBay and look for dealers who supply little ceramic stuff like that weird old auntie of yours used to keep in her dusty curio cabinets before the family put her in the Home. 'Cause, that's the kind of stuff put out by the Walt Disney Classics Collection.

This is like the third or fourth item in the WDCC series from Lilo & Stitch (if you're interested, there's a really cute Halloween set from a few years back. They are, to be factual for a split second, Alien Auana Stitch and Hawaiian Hula Lilo. I guess "Auana" is just another Hawaiian word for hula dancing, plus it's alliterative with "Alien."

Anyway, cute figures. Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to stick them in my dusty curio cabinet. And then go wave my cane at those darned kids playing on my lawn...

  1. No no... "auana" is "auana hula" -- it's the modern style of hula, as compared to "kahiko," which is the traditional style.

It's saying Stitch is doing a modern hula. Has nothing to do with aliens.

  2. "Alliterative" = "starts with the same letter as alien." Which, it does. :D
